Dutch warships fitted out with the electric night signalling device of Conz according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag dated 26 June 1891

An item reported that the Dutch torpedo boat Dempo (1) was to add the manoeuvres in the Zuiderfrontier. Just like the monitors Draak and Panter was she to be fitted out with the new electric night signalling device of Conz.

Stoomboot Maatschappij shipyard Fijenoord, Rotterdam, Netherlands in 1886 with yard number 137, launched on Saturday 16 July 1887, trial on 9 September off Texel achieving a speed of 22 miles and decommissioned on 1 November 1910/ Displacement 83 tons and as dimensions 38,37 x 3,96 x 2.07 metres. Her compound steam engine of horsepower of 760 ihp allowed a speed of 20,55 miles. Her crew numbered 16 men. The armament consisted of 2-3,7cm guns, 1 torpedo gun and 2 torpedo tubes. Building costs ƒ 140.000,-.
