An item reported that the Dutch torpedo boat Dempo (1) was to add the manoeuvres in the Zuiderfrontier. Just like the monitors Draak and Panter was she to be fitted out with the new electric night signalling device of Conz.

Her compound steam engine of horsepower of 760 ihp allowed a speed of 20,55 miles. Her crew numbered 16 men. The armament consisted of 2-3,7cm guns, 1 torpedo gun and 2 torpedo tubes. Building costs ƒ 140.000,-.
