France using Russian naphta products for her navy according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland dated 27 March 1925

Shell the Russian naphta syndicate signed a contract with the Italian navy for delivering 2.000 tons of lubricating oil. In 1929 ordered the French navy again. The newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 28 August reported a new contract for mineral oil consisting of 9.000 tons of petrol and 83.000 tons of fuel oil.
