French torpedo boats No. 62 and 69 collided according to the Dutch newspaper De locomotief dated 26 May 1896

An item dated Bastia 21 April reported that during the nightly manoeuvres off Cape Corse the French torpedo boats No.s 62 and 169 collided. The latter was not damaged but the first was deliberately beached to prevent sinking. There were none personnel victims.
