German torpedo boat S 116 torpedoed by British submarine according to the Dutch newspaper Leeuwarder courant dated 8 October 1914

An item dated Berlin 8 October reported that on 6 October the German torpedo boat S 116 of the station North Sea was torpedoed by a British submarine and lost. Almost her entire crew was saved.
