Stranded Nordenfelt torpedo boat salvaged according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 27 September 1888

An item dated London 24 September reported that the stranded torpedo boat Nordenfelt was salvaged by Svitzer and brought to the harbour of Esbjerg. The edition dated the 25th reported that the salvaging firm demanded 2.800 British pound sterling for the salvage.
