An item dated that the Turkish torpedo boat Edschen was stranded off Scala Nuova (Kuscha-dassi) south of Smyrna.(1) Support was underway.

1. Conway’s All the world’s fighting ships 1860-1905 mentioned none torpedo boat of this name just the Edijer built in 1890 by the Germania shipyard and stricken around 1914.
