An item dated Surabaya the 19th reported the arrival of the Austrian gunboat Albatros commanding officer Jozef Ritter Mauler Von Eisenau underway from Singapore towards Thursday Island. The armament consisted of six quick firing guns while her crew numbered 114 men.
