Danish tug Frode built at Foxhol, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsblad van het Noorden dated 9 July 1960

An item reported the successful trial at the Eems of the new tug Frode built at the Dutch shipyard of N,V. Scheepswerf Ferus Smit v/h fa. J. Smit en Zn. at Foxhol, Groningen for Danish account. The 790 hp engine allowed with the adjustable screw a speed of circa 12 knots. She was also fitted out with two auxiliary 53 hp engines. The edition dated 20 April reported her launching.
