French aviso torpedo boat being built according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1899-1900 no. 7

An item referred to the foreign magazine Mittheilungen reporting that the shipyard Forges et Chantiers de la Mediterranée was building an aviso torpedo boat for the French navy. She was to be fitted out with a Rateau design turbine and Renard boilers and to perform her trials at Cherbourg within one year.
