French torpedo boat no. 293 fitted out with turbines according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1903-1904 no. 6


An item reported that the French torpedo boat no. 293 which was being built at the shipyard of Normand at Le Havre would be fitted out with turbines manufactured by Parsons, Wallsend on Tyne. Her minimum speed would be at least 24 miles otherwise she would not be accepted.
