New British torpedo boat No. 11 performed well during trials according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1907-1908 no. 4

An item referred to the magazine Mitteilungen a.d. G.des Seewesens reporting that the British 1st class torpedo boat HMS No. 11 built at the shipyard of Yarrow&Co., Poplar achieved a speed of 27 miles during her 8 hours trial which was 1 mile more as her contracted speed. The oil consumption was totally 21,45 ton or 2,68 ton each hour. During the 24 hours trial was with a speed of 12,11 miles the total oil consumption 8,79 ton pr 0,366 ton each hour and 30,44 kilo each mile.
