Brazil considering building larger battleships as the projected ones according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1905-1906 no. 9

An item referred to the magazine Mitteilungen a.d. G. des Seewesens reporting that the Brazilian navy considered to built 16.000 ton battleships in stead of the projected 13.000 ton. This reconsideration was caused by an instigation of the firm John Brown&Co.
