Italian mineship ‘C’ being built at Venice according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1905-1906 no. 5

An item referred to the magazine Mitteilungen a.d. G. des Seewesens reporting that for the Italian navy the mineship ‘C’ was built at the shipyard at Venice. She would have a displacement of 5.500-6.000 ton as dimensions 125,8 x 16,5 x 5,15 metres. The coal bunker capacity was 1.000 and the contracted speed 25 miles. The armour had on the waterline a thickness of 15cm while the guns were protected by 12cm. Armed with 4-20,3 cm guns, several 7,6cm and a large number of mines.
