British sloop HMS Leith not similar to predecessors according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1933 no. 6

An item referred to the magazine Schiffbau dated 1 August 1933 reported that the sloop HMS Leith (1) just like her sister ship Grimsby would receive a heavier armament as her predecessors  namely 12 cm in stead of 10,5cm guns despite her smaller displacement.

Launched at the Devonport dockyard on 9 September 1933, sold on 25 November 1946 and renamed the Panama-flagged Byron, sold again in 1948 to the World Friendship Association and renamed Friendship, sold on 26 August 1949 to the Royal Navy, renamed as a survey ship Galathea and on left on 19 January 1955 Copenhagen, Denamrk after sold to be broken up.
