Building of Argentinean battleship Rivadavia at Quincy started according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1910-1911 no. 6


Rivadavia-class

An item reported that on 25 May at the shipyard of the Fore River Shipbuilding Company at Quincy, Massachusetts, USA the keel was laid down of one of the two new large battleships.(1)

Note
1. This must be the 27.940 tons Rivadavia of the Rivadavia-class with as sister ship the Moreno laid down on 25 May 1910 and finally sold on 8 February 1956.
