German navy ordered building of 12 torpedo boats according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1908-1909 no. 4

An item referred to the magazine Mitteilungen reporting dat the German Admiralty ordered that the 12 torpedo boats of which the building was approved in the 1908 budget were to be propelled by turbines. The boats were built by three shipyards.
