Netherlands needed more submarines according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 3 March 1915

An item referred to another Dutch newspaper namely the Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant which demanded that the Dutch Netherlands navy needed to built as much and as soon as possible submarines of at least 600 tons. Further more was the necessity of creating a navy air force.
