Submarines in the major naval powers according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 27 April 1929

An item dated London the 26th reported that the First Sea Lord informed the House of Commons what the number of submarines was in the navies of the major powers namely the British Empire 50, USA 122, France 52 and Italy 43.
