Dutch ship of the line Admiraal de Ruyter launched at Amsterdam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Groninger courant dated 21 January 1806

An item dated Amsterdam the 19th reported that in the presence of prince Louis who visited the yard was the keel laid of a 76-gun ship of the line. Vice admiral Verhuell asked the prince to give the new ship a name and she was to be named Admiraal de Ruiter.
