Dutch tug Spes Medea built at Gideon, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 3 October 1905

An item reported that the shipyard of Wilmink, Gideon, Netherlands built the tug Spes Medea for account of a firm at Delfzijl. She executed her trials in last Friday and departed towards Emden. An that moment were at Delfzijl around nine tugs active mostly on the Dortmund-Eems canal.
