Steam tanker Wild Flower disappeared according to the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf dated 20 January 1896

An item dated Le Havre, France 18th reported that the steam tanker Wild Flower underway from Philadelphia, USA towards Rouaan, France was presumably lost. Her cargo was insured for 300.000 and the ship herself for 800.000 francs in England.
