French and Turkish navies in the Mediterranean according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 22 September 1837

According to a tiding from Toulon dated 14 September was admiral Gallois ordered to leave with his squadron Tunis and sail towards the Levant. This is another proof that the movements of the Turkish navy no longer concerned the French government.
