French tug for Dakar built at Slikkerveer, Netherlands according to the newspaper Schiedamsche Courant dated 2 July 1905

Sunday 2 July 1905. Yesterday afternoon was at the yard of the firm A.F. Smulders at Slikkerveer, Netherlands with success the steel hull of a tug launched. She was built for French account and destined to serve at Dakar, Senegal. Dimensions 24,00 x 4,75 x 2,75 (hold) m. Fitted out with a 200 ihp compound engine and a steam boiler with a heating surface of 80 square meters and 8 atmosphere pressure.
