French tanker C.I.P. towed back to Le Havre, Frrance by Dutch tugs Zwarte Zee and Lauwerzee according to the Dutch newspaper Voorwaarts dated Monday 18 January 1926

An item reported that the French steam tanker C.I.P. which last Saturday was towed into St. Michaels by the tugs Zwarte Zee and Lauwerzee van L. Smit en Co.’s Internationale Sleepdienst while she lost her anchor continued her voyage towards Le Havre, France. A part of her cargo oil was pumped overboard, 7.000 ton remaining.(1)
