Spanish steam ship Aranguren lost in collission with French steam tanker Le Loing according to the Dutch newspaper Voorwaarts dated 17 November 1931
An item dated Stamnoel the 15th reported that the Spanish steamship Aranguren in the night before 4 miles north east off the Khairsis Island in a heavy fog collided with the French steam tanker Le Loing. The Frenchman saved the Spanish crew setting them on land. The Aranguren was underway from Braila towards Hamburg loaded with grain. She measured 3.721 gross and 2.420 net tons, built in 1901 and owned by the shipping company Maura ij Aresiti of Bilbao, Spain. The Le Loing steamed in ballast without a cargo on board.
