The Hague, 24 May. In a Dutch newspaper was the next item published dated Den Helder 21 May. Today around 17.00 o’clock arrived the French frigate la Belle Poule commanded by the Prince de Joinville. The frigate was towed by the Dutch steamboat Zr.Ms. Etna captain lieutenant van Franck and the steamboat Noord-Holland to the roads of Texel. The la Belle Poule was escorted by the French brig le Cafard. After a royal salute of 21 gunshots by the Etna were salutes fired by the battery at the fortress Kijkduin and the Dutch warships Sambre captain Van Straten, Palembang captain lieutenant Freudenberg and Zwaluw captain lieutenant returned by the French frigate.
