The British and Neapolitan navies in the Levant according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 20 July 1825

London, 16 July. According to a letter dated Naples 17 June published in the newspaper the Courier departed the Neapolitan squadron [Sicilies] consisting of the new hardly completed ship of the line Vesuvius, 2 frigates, 2 corvettes and a brig towards Livorno. The British HMS Revenge with on board admiral Neale was some days ago at Naples but departed Thursday 9 June towards Genoa and Marseille. The admiral intended to stay during the winter at Naples where he hired a house for the period September-March.
