The Turkish fleet was in the meantime almost completely disarmed and her returning became daily more improbable. The Kapudan Pasha stayed at Cairo neglected by Mehemet while suffering by deep feelings of treason. The Turkish sailors were very displeased with the fact that the fleet was in so worse condition.
