Dutch navy captured pirate prow off the Duizend Eilanden, Dutch East Indies according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 16 July 1844

The Hague, Netherlands 15 July. According to the tidings received from the Dutch East Indies dated until the end of March managed the Dutch navy to capture off the Duizend Eilanden one pirate prow. A second one managed to escape.
