Dutch whaler De Vreede for sale at Amsterdam according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamsche Courant dated 12 September 1780

An announcement reported that the brokers J. de Flints and J.W. Beth intended to sell on an auction on Monday 18 September in the Nieuwe Heeren Logement at Amsterdam the extra ordinary well sailing fluytship De Vreede, commandeur Pieter Visser, in 1775 newly fitted out with as dimensions 111 x 30’9”x 12, height verdeck 6’9½” and steering platform 9’5”.
