Barcelona, 8 August.
The French aviso l’Etincelle captured 15 August a Sardinian cutter
loaded with victuals which approached the port of Barcelona
to a half gun shot distance. She was brought up with 10 other vessels seized by
the French cruisers all intending to enter Barcelona with stores and victuals.
