Naval operations of the Dutch East Company at Coromandel according to the Generale Missive dated 5 April 1743

The Noordwolfsbergen departed 25 February 1743 towards this factory with 300.000 lb black pepper, 250.000 lb Japanese bars of copper and 15.400 lb of mace. Batavia stated that the order dated 12 June 1740 to hold up the ships at Nagapattinam still was valid. The Hof niet altijd Zomer lost her anchor due to the heavy storms and driven to Bengal and arrived there 13 November. She loaded at Machiliupatnam textiles and calatus wood.
