Madrid, 10 August. Recently captured a privateer a large merchant ship off San Sebastian. Two other privateers were cruising off Bilbao. At Cadiz were some ships repaired although in a quite slow speed while there wasn’t enough money available for speeding the work although it was necessary. The order was received to fit out the Alexander for an unknown destination. There was hope that she could depart towards open sea within a short time.
