Frankfurt, 5 September. The newspaper Le Journal de Frankfurt published today and yesterday some tidings from the newspaper Spectateur Oriental of Smyrna until 1 August. One news item dated Napoli-di-Romana 19 July reported that today all British warships left the harbour. Four Greek brigs of war hold up 8 at Constantinople freighted Austrian merchant ships destined towards the Ionian Islands. Probably they were brought up there. Condurioti decided to stop with all Greek naval actions while they were of no use anymore.
