25 November. The captain pasha which defence was agreed by the sultan arrived
with his ship and went at the arsenal from board for a leave of 10 days.
Everyone wonders about the softness of the sultan.

Egypt, 8 October . Rumours are going dealing with a new expedition to
strengthen the all ready sent but which suffered badly caused by the Greeks. A
new expedition is however causing large problems due to the small population of
Egypt and so missing enough capable hands for all the work which had to be
