The French fleet in 1762 according to the Dutch newspaper Opregte Groninger Courant dated 23 March 1762

According to this Dutch newspaper was the French fleet fitted out at Toulon ready for departure for a secret destination with provisions for 8 months on board. In the meantime were at Rochefort 10 ships of the line, 3 frigates and 2 bomb galliots to be fitted out for the end of March and to departed with other warships armed sloops and flat-bottomed vessels with totally 8.000 men on board.
