French navy versus Spanish privateers according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 23 June 1823

Coast and the river of Genoa unsafe caused by 10 or 11 privateers including 4 armed with guns and 50-70 men on board and which all ready captured some French vessels. The Spanish ship captured 10 days ago by the frigate la Junon was at Marseille declared as a prize.(1)
