Thessalonika, 26 May. There Greeks founded an admiralty at Milos. In the mean time were 12 Turkish warships including frigates, corvettes and brigs captured. A ship of Psara fought with an 18-gun Turkish brig between Sante and Cefalonia. After 7 hours fighting was the battle still not over when a vessel of Galafidis coming from Livorno handed 4 guns and 20 men over to the Greek vessel and which now succeeded in captured the Turkish brig. There were on board none Greek sailors found. Finally when the Greeks promised that anyone who told the truth was not to be punished an informer told them that 22 Greek sailors were killed and thrown overboard. The result was that all Turkish crewmembers except for the informer immediately were killed by the Greeks.
