Livorno, 11 October. Some Greek passengers which arrived with a vessel coming from Zante reported that the Russian fleet still bombarded the island Negroponte and that 23 Turkish ships coming from Algiers, Tunis and Tripoli were burned by the Russians in the harbour of Modron while the Russian lost during this attack a xebec and a British build frigate.
