Rebelling Janizaries set fire in Pera, Turkey according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 20 September 1823

Pera/Constantinople, 28 July. Due to a rebellion of the Janizaries was the harbour set into fire, a burning ship of the line collapsed, hitting two frigates which were now also set into fire causing the loss of some brigs and other small war vessels by a spreading fire. The rigging magazine was also lost.
