Taku Tug and Lighter Company selling her tugs and lighters according to the Dutch newspaper Soerabijasch handelsblad dated 8 July 1941

An item dated Tientsin the 6 July reported that the Taku Tug and Lighter Company was selling her tugs and lighters with as result that the British influence on the main number of lighters available in Taku, North China disappeared. Especially oil importers mend this intended sale that they became complete dependent of the good will of the new owners.
