American whaler Europa visited November 1874 Honolulu according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 5 January 1875

An item referred to a letter written by captain McKenzie of the Europa of New Bedford when she was lying at Honolulu on 25 November 1874. Her total catch that season consisted of 1.050 bbls whale oil, 10.000 lb bone and 1.700 lb ivory. She was now prepared for another season in the North. Her oil was sent with the Syren towards New Bedford while the whale bon was sent with the San Francisco and overland.
