American whaler Swift wrecked according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 24 January 1865

An item reported that the catch 600 gallons sperm oil and 8.500 lb yellow metal salvaged out of the lately wrecked whaler Swift of New Bedford was transferred to the Norman of and bound for Nantucket.
