Dutch ship Willemina en Clara destined with troops towards the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Courant van Den Helder dated Wednesday 23 August 1865

An item dated Den Helder the 22nd referred to a tiding from Harderwijk (1) dat on 2 September a detachment of 125 men (including 10 non-commissioned officers) commanded by major H.A. Termijtelen of the Colonial Army would embark the Willemina en Clara captain F. Molenaar lying at Nieuwediep. Other officers which accompanied this detachment were the 1st infantry lieutenant P. de Riemer and 2nd infantry lieutenant W..N.A. van Loenen en de 2nd lieutenants of the artillery J.L. van Wijhe and H.J.G. Souman.

1. In this town was the so-called Koloniaal Werfdepot between 1814 and 1909 situated where the soldiers for the East Indies Army in the Dutch East Indies were recruited.
