Norwegian brig Mindel involved in accident at Nieuwediep, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche Courant dated 25 July 1866

An item dated Den Helder the 24th reported that the Norwegian brig Mindel that morning ready for departure and already on tow by the tug Archimedes when suddenly the bollard broke which was connected with the shore via a cable. The result was that the pilot and the second mate were seriously injured to the head. The pilot was transported to his house. The second mate to the government hospital.
