American whaler Pern sold to New London according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 29 December 1863

An item reported that the bark 259 tons Pern former of Nantucket but in the meantime of New Bedford was sold to Richard H. Chapell of New London. Her new homeport was now New London but still as whaler.
