Dutch bark Copernicus destined towards Japan with disassembled slipway ccording to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe courant van Den Helder dated 24 May 1862

An item dated Den Helder 23 May reported that the Dutch bark ship Copernicus captain J. Algra destined towards Japan was lying at Den Helder to complete her cargo which was manufactured for the Japanese government at Fijenoord at Rotterdam. Her cargo included a iron made slipway.
