British (?) ship Frances Walker lost according to the Dutch newspaper Weekblad van Den Helder en het Nieuwediep dated 19 March 1855

An item reported that the ship Frances Walker left on 14 September Sydney bound for Calcutta but struck the cliffs on the 26th in Torres Strait and lost. Just one life boat was left for her crew and passengers which managed to reach Koepang, Timor after 35 days. Five sailors were left behind on Rooby Island while they wanted no to risk their lives on board of an over loaded lifeboat.
