Cargo of stranded British bark Prospero sold at Vlieland, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Weekblad van Den Helder en het Nieuwediep dated 14 May 1855

An announcement reported the auction by ship broker Willem Jan Hidde Bok on Tuesday the 15th 12.00 oclock in the village on Vlieland of 32 blocks walnut tree timber belonging to the cargo of the British bark ship Prospero captain Thomas Ferris which was lost off the Dutch island Terschelling underway from Liverpool towards Hamburg.
