Russian/Finnish bark ship Peter Herman wrecked on the Dutch island Texel according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 15 December 1861

An announcement reported the auction on Thursday the 19^th at 11.00 o’clock at Cocksdorp, Eijerland of part of the inventory of the Russian bark ship Peter Herman captain Alexander Bökelman. She was underway from Jacobstadt, Finland towards Gibraltar. Wrecked after on the storm of 14 November. The edition of 6 February 1862 reports an auction of part of her cargo consisting of timber. She was then indicated as a Finnish ship.
